    We reserved a Toyota Rav4 but agent at the desk said "I have your Mitubishi Outlander ready" I said , uhhmm we really like the Rav4. she called Avis and got 1 from them. Really cool. Never seen that before.

    They lie about the space of the suv and the space for 5 bags was a lie , was very disappointed . 6 of us hardly to fix in the suv it was a very uncomfortable ride to our destination.

    Long wait time at pickup, nice vehicle.

    The wait time for an attendant was excessive and watching enterprise customers get their cars in minutes was frustrating. The attendant was very nice. The vehicle we rented was nice. The inside windshield had a foggy film causing me to stop to clean it and the change oil alarm came on every time I started the vehicle.

    Hello, This is in regard to the above booking reference that I reserved for last week in Boston. Upon arrival at Logan Airport and standing at the Payless counter, I was told that the "Jeep Grand Cherokee" wasn't avalible & I had to settle for something comparable which I understand 100%. I was then given a Chevy Equinox which is an entry level SUV not a mid size SUV like I had requested, I complained to the agent to no avail. In the auto/rental car industry "Comparable" with the Jeep Grand Cherokee should be something like a Ford Explore, Chevrolet Traverse or a Pathfinder... not a Equinox. I am a big guy (5'11 300 lb) I don't mind driving the Equinox but I wanted something more roomy and thats why I chose the Jeep and paid $469.95. I asked for some sort of a discount at the counter but it seems that I was speaking with a Robot without any customer service skills. In todays Social Media World (Big Fan) every rental car company should pick it up a notch and stay competitive with the Avis's of the world.     Poor

    Terrible customer service, Never had such experience with renting car. Definitely will never rent with pay less. Will never recommend to anyone. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. They just need money and doesn’t care about customers. I reserved my car weeks before my travel and they simply said we don’t have the car size you reserved and gave some small vehicle which was terrible for 7ppl to travel. Charged me the same price for a larger vehicle even though i got a smaller vehicle. Just stay away from Payless. I would rate them negative if i could.

    Good price. Reliable car. Getting car = confusing, with wasted time and not as stated in contract

    Car was perfectly adequate But rental agreement refers to Avis for airport rental logistics ( there is also Payless sign below Avis) After long wait agent states that this is wrong location and Payless renters have to do all the paperwork at pickup location

    Careless not Payless for substandard second-class unacceptable smoke infested SUV!

    The car wreaked of smoke. I tried to return it for something else and was advised Payless doesn’t guarantee non-smoking cars. What? I had this car for a week traveling to and from my daughters volleyball tournament all week. This meant my family would have to inhale this second hand smoke all week long. Your company name should be Careless not Payless because I ended up paying more for a roomier car when other agencies offer roomier cars within the same class. And of course Carelss again for your substandard, second-class and negligent service to customers who do not smoke. Unacceptable!

    Easy way to find a car and pay less and get the car faster.

    Thank you so much for the awesome website. I used to contact the rental car office directly and got exorbitant rates. With Eastrentcars I got really competitive rates. The car was clean and new Opel Mokka. I did not wait for that much long about 15 to 20 minutes. Yes, the counter staff was helpful (his name is Edsel). He gave me a delay of two extra hours to return the car. The car rental office can make responding to phone calls faster. I had to wait and hang up the phone sometimes because nobody picked the phone up.

    A very good experience overall

    The counter staff lady was excellent in the way she handled the customers. I booked a 7- seater vehicle, when I arrived at pay-less to pick up the vehicle, there were already 2 families waiting and 2 more came in for similar vehicle. Due to delay in returns, they were running short. They Lady at the counter handled the situation well and offered alternatives for people willing to take and was constantly communicating with status updates. Coming to the car, though the exterior was cleaned the interior was dirty with sticky pocket holes and greased seat.

    Car was 2017 with many miles. Price was notthe same as my confirmation. For that price I could have rented a newer car.
