    Ordered a car get a large van ? Gas cost and parking issues

    Check in and Check out people where rude and didn’t care that I was waiting and talking using their cell phones. Then give me a Van when I ordered Inter sadan for gas mileage but they didn’t want to provide it to me when there was 10-15 of them in the other area.

    Very Good

    The reservation stated that the pickup was in the airport terminal but IT IS NOT. Payless cars are collected in an industrial estate that needs to be reached via shuttle from the airport. This was a problem as I was late for a wedding when I arrived in the airport. Fortunately the staff at Avis / Budget (who run Payless) desk in Dublin Airport were amazing and accommodated me with an Avis car right there.

    When we went to pick up the car the guy at the counter was pushing too hard to buy insurance

    The car was pretty average and had 135000 km on it. The guy at pick up counter was forcing us to buy insurance and was telling us all sorts of stories about sand storm and accidents. Which was bit too much.

    Never use PAYLESS!!

    The hidden fees were horrible at payless car rental. I will NEVER rent from them again. 2 week rental for $244 was the reason I went with them, then they put an extra $250 holding fee then they booked me for mileage when my mileage was supposed to be all included. No one told me that I couldn't travel to Sanfran. The lady at the desk specifically asked me where I was going and I told her San francisco and she didn't mention it to me at all! So I was charged an extra $150. At that rate of $650. I would have been better off going with budget or enterprise or anything other than payless... you definately do not pay less at payless car rentals.

    Not happy with the check in time

    Avis staff were slow and did not respect my booking from you and said they don’t like people ordering through your Company! Over 75 mins to get the car

    We ordered a Jeep Cherokee

    Never again!

    Terrible service at car pick-up, ignorant personel, very rude and unprofessional. Had to wait for manager to come and finish the procedure. At the end we received extremely dirty and old car - over 130k km.

    really small car

    We were supposed to get a Jeep Grand Cherokee or similar, what we received was a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport which is a really small suv. And this was after waiting in line for about 40 minutes. I did not go back in to complain because we had been up a really long time at that point and I had my 5yr old and 11 month old with me and they were ready to go plus there was only two people working the counter and at least 20 people waiting at that point. So we just left after barely being able to get our luggage and car seats into the tiny car. I would like to have had the larger vehicle but my kids were done and could not have waited the hour or more for me to get back to the counter.

    Old Condition was not disclosed.

    There was an old little scratch on the door when I found the next day, later on I found out that the right side mirror is broken (keeps on moving when I make a turn) and there was no floor mats on all the floors.

    Excessively long wait, nice car

    Picking up the car was a horrible experience with dozens of people waiting outside sitting on their luggage and a huge line winding out the door. The counter agent wasn’t overly friendly and I felt like she was trying to trick me into spending more money. The car was great and everything after getting in the car was excellent.
