The milage on agreement was a couple of hundred miles below the actual millage on the car. If I hadnt noticed this I would have been charged for the milage. This made me suspect that Interrent was potentially trying to fiddle the deal. Probably not true but it did reduce my confidence in Interrent considerably. When I made this know the man at the desk said I should just take a photograph of the milage for documentation. This method is not infallible. I would have preferred a corrected rental agreement signed by the person on the desk and documented with a photo so that I would feel certain that I was not being badly dealt with. As it turned out everything was in order when I returned the car. Interrent could easily lose customers by this shoddy way of handling problems. Otherwise Interrent was fine. The car lived up to expectations and the rental cost reasonable.

There were a lot of hidden costs that we were not informed about upfront, including a mandatory €1000 deposit if we didn't pay out for the extra insurance cover, and a €102 fuel deposit (which is more fuel than will even fit in a Fiat 500). Staff also didn't tell us about these costs in one go, even when directly asked 'what is the total we will have to pay'. This created a really negative experience for us and impacted on a lot of our holiday plans. It seemed like this was intentional, a way of forcing people into paying money without giving them the full information in advance, and it felt like we were being scammed. It was also contrary to the information that we received from our broker, Easyrentcars.com, which advised that we could be charged a maximum deposit of up to the equivalent of $500, meaning that we were missold this car hire deal. In future I will avoid Interrent and recommend that others do also.

They'll try to sell you additional insurances, upgrades, fuel. Refuse if you don't need any and you'll get good value for money.

I have to admit that everything was ok from the booking process to the price and the process at the Europcar first counter next to the arrivals which they said that the car should be ready in 15 mins. So we went on to exchange money and get wifi service which took some time. By the time we went to pick up the person told us 30 mins. and after that he went adding until 2 1/2 hrs later we got the car and it was after midnight which I believe it counts as the next day (or at least if you return it after midnight some companies would've charged you a whole day). So that made our experience a not pleasant one.

Appalling check in process; customers waiting ages on keys. No idea of condition of vehicle, collecting in the dark so photos not possible. On drop off tried to claim I was responsible for scrapes as nothing on the sheet.

The worse experience ever! I rent a car through your company a few years ago in Portugal and didn’t have any problems. Ms Lorena at the desk in Mallorca airport gave me the worse customer service I have ever experience. On Friday 8th Feb I rented a car online. I was charged over £10. Terms and conditions said £800 of deposit was going to be blocked on my card. At the airport the woman said to me it’s £1500, when I asked her why there is nothing about it online and it’s not okay she didn’t have an answer. Then I said that I have my own annual insurance and she said you don’t accept it and I have to pay extra. I asked her if someone would go with me to the car to do the check in. She said: „no, you have to go by yourself and if there is any damage this is your problem”. Unacceptable!! I told her: „I’m sorry but I don’t like your attitude” and she replied „And I don’t like your attitude”. I decided to rent a car from AVIS where I got a great deal and I experienced an amazing customer service. I’m a travel blogger and I’ll mention that situation in my upcoming vlog for sure. They heat people. They charged my credit card unrightfully. First they charged my card without any information and when I figured out they said that the reason was "extra days". When I proofed they were wrong they gave back part of that money and said that another part of that charge is because "changing reservation". That is also not true. They didn't have car which I booked and which they had confirmed. They try to cheat me saying that it's because I picked up car 1 hour later than I had declared and information about charge for changing reservation is part of T&C. I've send they part of T&C where is information that they should hold booked car to the end of the day. I'm asking what's wrong with that company? If they try to cheat everyone clients? I demand they give me back money that they charged unrightfully but they stop answer. They said that that they gave me BB category instead of A and that's way I need to pay more. But it was because of they foult - they didn't have car A category. They also didn't tell me when I came to pick up car that they want to rented me other class. I was sure that I'm getting class which I booket da Easyrentcars. They didn't tell me that they want to charged my credit card for that change. I've booked Seat Mii 2 Doors or similar. I get Fiat 500 2 Doors. For me it was a similar car - 2 doors, 1,2 engine, small car.

We had to wait quite a while while a customer in front of us who was being charged an unseen cost was being dealt with. In the end they left without taking the car. We then had some delay as were told that had to have a utility bill - something that was not declared up front and obviously not something I would have to hand. Finally we were given a car which had been marked no damage but there was a large dent on it. Thankfully we checked otherwise we may have had a large bill (which would have down to the companies lack of thorough checks prior to rental). So overall a disappointing service at pick up.

It was not easy to determine which was the actual rental company from the emails or the policy. I had to call the number to get told it was Europe Car. And then as I was at the desk, I was told I needed to pay 30 euros as it was out of office hours, plane was late on arrival and landed at 4.50 and was at desk within half an hour - and queued. Out of office hours at 5pm?? Seriously... I know its not your problem but I think it is a joke. Car was great though. thanks
