    The staff was very helpful. Offered extras but not pushy.

    Like: Quick and easy online reservation process. Provided a rental for reasonable price. Offered a slightly bigger car for no extra charges when they saw we had quite a few luggages. Offered upgrades for extra cost and was specific about differences in cost of options. Made sure we had all the information about our options to be able to make an informed decision. Tip!* Always get the super protection! You never know if someone causes damage to the car when it's parked. - a suggestion they made and it was worth it!
    Dislike: Not able to make changes to reservation without cancelling previous reservation and making a new one. The person at the chat service informed me this was the only way to make changes. He was helpful, it would've been just more convenient if the option was there.

    Very good drop off in Venice, but Rome pick up was too busy

    Like: I got an unbelievably low rate through easy rent cars.com and the car was almost exactly what we wanted.
    Dislike: The horn in the car didn’t work and in Italy you definitely need a horn. The car company REALLY REALLY should give EVERYONE quick briefing on driving in Italy (ZTL zones, camera surveillance and ticketing, etc) even if it’s just a 3x5 size explaining in the drivers language what mostly is different in traffic laws for Italy. It could even be written by former car rental customers.

    Friendly people, considerate drivers and amazing things to see.

    Like: The mountains with dense forests, the expressways that got us places in a reasonable time. The considerate drivers, no one toots or says angry things - they are too polite for that. ( Although I did get one toot in 14 days, a fair cop. I had to desperately cross three lanes to get to an exit before the lights changed. A big white car came out of nowhere tooted at me, we merged but didn't touch for a few seconds, I slowed down and he took off ahead. Phew!) The Japanese people are friendly everywhere in the country. The island of Hokkaido; it's less populated and it was great to see rice paddies, open fields and green hills. I loved going up into the mountains with our car and going through tree tunnels and seeing waterfalls. The 7/11 and Lawson stores; they had very good made up Japanese and Western meals and yummy sandwiches plus all the usual mini mart products. They have good carparks right outside the store. Having the car meant we could get to out of the way places, there was always hotel or guest house nearby. Mt Fuji, so good we had to stay there twice. The lakes nearby are lovely. Our car was a cross between a shopping trolley and a hairdryer but it was a nifty little car. Lots of interesting things to see - Rabbit Island, shrines on the top of mountains, gorges with rapids and waterfalls, Tokyo from the Tokyo Tower and lots, lots more.
    Dislike: I read on Google that we couldn't get an ETC card but now I read that foreign visitors can get a 14 day Expressway Pass for 34000 yen. I am confused. Our car didn't have a device to signal the toll gates but could we have got one. An ETC card would have saved a lot of toll fees. On most of southern Honshu nearly every bit of the flat land has houses, factories and commercial buildings. Finally got to some open space north of Tokyo and saw rice paddies. Very few animals? No goats, sheep, chooks, ducks, pigs or birds. There were crows and a few ibis. Most animal farming seems to be done in huge sheds,

    Renting a car at Weeze airport (EasyRentCars - Hertz)

    Like: The prices are rather competitive (typically lower than in some other broker agencies), the service is excellent, the staff are always available through the live chat service, the free cancellation is a very useful option, the price includes exactly what is specified, and we did not pay any additional costs at the desk of the rental agency.
    Dislike: In the rental agreement, it was specified that “cross border is free of charge”. It happened that due to the miss-communication between the rental and broker agency this cross border was not free of charge. However, the EasyRentCars accepted to reimburse the cost, and it turned out to also be a positive experience. We are thankful to EasyRentCars.

    Okay

    Hertz made Me wait for 20 mins to be serviced, gave me a Micra basic car although I paid for a better car and I had to spend 20 mins registration and waited 40 mins for my car after in the 35+ degrees

    Confusion/frustrations

    I checked and rechecked my confirmation and no where did it say it the car was from Hertz. Finally called the number and only then I figured it out from the message. And talking about calling I had a concern that I tried to contact Hertz about. I called 10 times over 3 days and left 2 messages. Never could get through, did not receive a call back.

    Since when do reservations mean nothing?

    Hertz over booked. There were three of us there for one pickup truck. Needless to say, I didn’t get that truck. The one that arrived late got it because they called to make sure it was there. Thought that was what a reservation is for. Didn’t get a truck until two hours later. Missed a deadline and will have to rent another truck to finish my project at a later time. Was not happy with the experience. It is definitely going to cost me a bit of money.

    Very Good

    When we received our paperwork from easyrent it stated that we could collect the vehicle at either the Hertz or Thrifty desk in Palma airport. When iI approached the Thrifty desk the operative Rita advised that I couldnt collect it here (despite wearing Hertz labelled clothing). I showed her the paper work that clearly said that the vehicle could be collected at either Hertz OR Thrifty, be she insisted that because there was a Hertz image on the paper work that the vehicle could only be colelcted at the Hertz desk. This continued for ten minutes of so and she eventually relented but told me in no uncertain terms that they wouldnt normally do this and that they were doing us a favour. I dont know if the paper work or the operative was wrong, either way it added undue stress to the process.

    A very good Car to drive in, however the luggage space was a bit small.

    Hertz had offer to upgrade my Car for addition A$10 a day. However, as I had bought the full coverage insurance thru Easyrentcars. They wasn't able to advice to the insurance impact and thus we were unable to upgrade our car on the spot.

    Very Good

    Agents @this Hertz location were extremely helpful/professional. Long wait for pick up due to amount of customers lined up and one particular client complaining and refusing to leave. Overall, outstanding customer service from the manager and his colleague.

    Overall good experience

    Car had tons of scratches (consistent with the average condition of cars in Morocco though) however the hertz inspector took care to document all of them before we got the car. We were not informed/reminded about road tolls which caused us some complications being ill-prepared with no cash on hand. The hertz inspector also did not speak english and we had to find instructions online how the keyless system worked in our rental car. Upon return of the car there was no signs for rental cars, mostly an airport problem though rather than fault of hertz. Overall we got the car we expected and we had no issues with it during our stay, just some logistics and service around the rental experience that could be improved.

    The actual car and the booking process was fantastic. Just not hertz!

    Hertz were the worst rental experience I have ever had. They were terribly unorganised, rude, slow and had no idea how to handle the amount of people waiting for a car. We had no one check the car with us and many scratches and dents on the car. I will avoid hertz from now on!!!
