Car was well below expectation. This was our 2nd time booking with europcar. The first car that was offered to us was old, damaged exteriors, and the tank was half full. Headed back to the counter to request another car and was told there's no car in same catergory. They all they could do is to fill up the petrol of the old car or if we would like to upgrade with 10 aud/ day. We ended up requesting if we could just get another car that was just returned, and thankfully they allowed us to. So, the whole process of getting a decent car was near an hour, meaning we are an hour behind our schedule and had a bad start for our 3 days trip.

Ridiculously expensive compared to competitors! Charging a extra fee for a 22yo full license driver that equals to nearly the entire rental amount is insane! Will never book with Europcar again! Save your money and book with the smaller less known companies and you’ll save a fortune

It was busy at the counter but staff were quick to try and sort people out. We paid for a sat nav as extra with them and it was pretty useless and we relied on our phone for maps the whole trip. otber than that all smooth.

The car was dirty on the outside and windows were very dirty with marks all over them . The body of the car was also marked and dirty. The inside was grubby and dirty and generally unkempt with rubbish still inside from last customer. I raised the concerns and was told two day rental would be discounted from my bill. I have emailed and been told that this was not possible as I’d prepaid,so was told money already taken in the form of additional drivers ! I am not clear how much this is in relation to two days of rental , I am not clear how this money was paid back to my account without a card or pin present, I would Like clarifyication
