    better than expected!

    Like: After I payed for my car rental through advantage before leaving for my trip, a couple days later is when I looked at the reviews and man, they were terrible. It made me wanna cancel my reservation, get a refund and rent from somewhere else. But I just said I'll give it a chance because I didn't wanna go through the hassle. Got to LA, and it ended up being a very good experience actually. I had no problems at all. As soon as I went outside to wait for the shuttle, it arrived literally like not even 2 minutes of waiting. Got to the place and waited in line for like 8 minutes. The guy was quick and easy. He wasn't very smiley and friendly though, which is what I like to see in people, even if it's fake haha. He tried to get me to get insurance and I told him no and then after trying to push a little harder, he stopped. After being with him for about 6 minutes, he gave me the contract or whatever you call it to sign, then I went to my rental. It was very nice and in good shape. I read a lot of people complained the car they got was in bad shape, or dirty and/or smelled, etc. Nope, I got a 2018 Toyota Camry and it was beautiful! There was a few scratches and a big scrape towards the bottom, which it wasn't even visible unless you really looked hard, but I took pictures of everything before the guy inspected it, then I left. I had it for a week. Dropped it back at the time I said, the girl did a quick inspection and said everything was good and I went to the shuttle and the guy took us right away to the airport. I was worried also because a lot of people said they would get charged for random little charges that the employees couldn't explain after bringing it back. I made sure the car was full of gas, cleaned, wiped down and vacuumed before I returned it so I wouldn't be charged for bs cleaning charges, but it's been a week and I haven't gotten any charge taken and I got an email from advantage with my inspection on it, the contract with all the info and then it

    Great experience

    Like: Got to airport and went to counter.had to wait for people who hadn't pre booked to be served.got served quickly and efficiently with no problems , then off to collect the car.car was not the model I was expecting but was nearly new and better than the model I'd ordered.have travelled a lot to different places in Florida and quite happily say this was a great deal /price for the car I ordered and I would certainly use this company again in future holidays..i was very impressed with the company and service.
    Dislike: Having to wait over half an hour when I had pre booked my car 2 months earlier.(had just got off an 8 hour flight with 3 kids in tow!!

    car was great but stunk of baby powder entire trip

    Counter staff should have explained tolls are only around Tampa and Miami. We had to drive 2 hrs back to airport to cancel transponder but problem was dealt with very quickly and courteously

    Car reeked of marijuana; one brake light was out; checkout counter is understaffed.

    Long line at the pickup counter. Saw a bunch of staff that could have helped but just stood around talking to one another. Everyone in line was commenting on it. Drop-off was fast but when I went inside to catch the shuttle I again saw a long line at the pickup counter with people that looked like they could have helped. The car reeked of dope when we picked it up, but it was the only one left of the size we reserved so we had to take it. As well, your staff dismissed it as a minor issue when I complained about it. We left the car in the garage of the home we rented for three days with the windows open and it still smelled when we returned it. One of the brake lights didn’t work from the moment we picked it up. Imagine what would happen if I got stopped by a cop for a bad brake light with a car smelling of dope? I specifically reserved a ski rack when I reserved the car and my reservation confirmation showed it, but there were none to be had. Caused a headache when we tried to load all of our skis. Actually needed to call a friend to rent another, smaller car to carry the people that were displaced by the skis. Pickup counter staff tried to up sell me on insurance. It is certainly the prerogative of a business to up sell, but they most definitely didn’t have their facts straight regarding the fact that my own insurance policy will cover any rental vehicle I drive, even if it costs more than one of my own vehicles, so they were misleading and I don’t care for that. Leaving aside the door smell and brake light, the car ran smoothly and was actually quite nice. The price for the rental was excellent, but all things considered, it wasn’t good value for my money. I rent at National for business trips and while I would have paid quite a bit more, they would never give a customer a vehicle that smells like that; I rarely wait more than a few minutes in line; their staff are courteous; I’ve always gotten the ski rack when I’ve reserved one.

    Good Value for monies spent.

    Although the vehicle had over 35,000 miles and a few scratches on it at pick up it proved to be a very reliable vehicle. First time I have used Easy Rent Cars but it won't be the last. Keep up the good work and value. Brian Simpson

    Showed her the forecast for warm,, sunny weather. Her answer “They’re always wrong!” We were very tired and wanted to get to our son’s house so we gave in. As I knew, it was warm and sunny the whole week—a big waste.

    Why prepay?

    Arrived at the rental kiosk along with about 20 other people who had been waiting over an hour. We were all PREPAID but they had NO cars for us. This was a disaster.

    Terrible costumer service and overpriced

    The GPS did not work properly and I had to buy data for my phone making really expensive. When I try to get a refund. the manager was not helpful at all and refuse to give me a refund. Very poor costumer service. Also I realized they charge more as they did not discount the money i already had pay when I booked the rental

    never again with Advantage if Keischa does not send an written appologie

    terrible lady Kiesha at pickup !!!the pickup lasted 75 minutes and we were the sole customers !!!! The car was damaged, they did not wanted to give us an other one of same class, offerd a smaller one which could not fit our luggage !!!! Back bumper was damaged, head light was not working !!!! One other lady said she was the manager and layed !!!we found out at return that the manager is a male !!!!

    Why no Toyotas

    I booked a mid-sized SUV (Toyota Rav 4), but was informed at the counter this agency did not have Toyotas, and I was given a Jeep Renegade. Experience led me to believe this is a smaller noisier vehicle. I ended up paying an additional $15/day for an upgrade. If I would have known at the time of booking, I would have booked a different vehicle at the outset.
