Asked for £1,800 when arrived at check in. £30 extra money for boarder fees. and £95 upfront incase i didnt return full tank. Didnt have a similar car i purchased. Had to give me a manual Car and i asked for automatic car. First car they offered had engine managment light on. Overall shocking experience.

Le plein ne nous a en réalité dans une station normale coûté que 50€......)

    Our flight was delayed and the girl stayed late to allow us to collect the car which we thanked her for and appreciated. However, she spent a lot of time then trying to sell us insurance we didn't require and attempted to use scare mongering techniques. When we dropped the car off on the last day, shortly after the opening time, she was unable to provide any advice or help with getting to the airport. The airport shuttle didn't show up and she had no idea about it nor any taxi numbers or advice. The website stated there was an airport shuttle and she knew nothing about the company nor times and didn't know how to contact them. She was very unhelpful and off-hand We found taxi numbers online however there was no availability to pick us up. When we asked to speak to the manager and said we would have to complain, she told one of the employees to take us to the airport as he was going in the direction of the airport as he was leaving.

    The experience with Easirent was fantastic from a service standpoint. The pricing for 8 days of use for the vehicle seemed significantly more expensive than was anticipated. During booking, the charges were approximately $515 which is higher than expected but accepted under the impression that would be the total amount of cost. When picking up the vehicle day of, there were additional costs of $495 approximately which is almost a 100% increase from the original booking and a total surprise. This was very upsetting but we had no choice at the time to another direction for booking at that moment and felt lied to/tricked.

    Long wait for pickup/ rude unapologetic staff- I was told 5 minutes but was waiting over 45 minutes for the pickup, rang office 4 times. Was spoken to rudely and abruptly by 3 team members, they constantly said just 5 minutes away but I waited 45 mins and they were unapologetic about being so late. Took a further 1/2 hour or more to get to the office and get on the road. Hiring cars without road tax - When checking out, a guy beside me was complaining - he was waiting a month for a refund- due to returning his hire as it had no tax. No road tax? with a hire company? I did not think to check my tax disc? I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought this must be a one off surely? however over Easter I was pulled in by gardai and my vehicle had no up to date road tax on it. The company was unapologetic upon return of the car. I only got away with a fine/confiscation because the garda was local and took my work that it was a hire and he let me go. Poor customer service - They are so unapologetic and unhelpful and I doubt their integrity. The only small redemption is the girl Lauren who did eventually come to my assistance and was the only polite/genuine/helpful person in my whole experience with Easirent.

    Ended up having to fork out an additional £92 when we had only paid £52 for the rental as wouldn't accept the credit card as a deposit, although more than happy to accept the same card for more money!! Tried lying about a clearly rusty scratch which was on the car ehen we picked it up. Luckily we had taken photos before we drove away with it. My cousin also picked up a car at the same time as us and had nothing but problems. They also attempted to accuse her of causing damage which was already there. Absolute cowboys.     SCAM!!!! That's all I can say. After arriving to pick up my car the staff decided I'm a resident and demanded some insane documents to rent a car. "Well, sir if you read the fine print..."     The pick up process from Airport to Car location took nearly 1 hour, very poor, as long as my flight.When eventually picked up taken to Hiton Hotel 1st, 15 minute diversion and then back towards airport for car pick up so annoying that Car Pick up near Airport where you start from.When completing paper work for car hire staff advise that additional insurance is required which is 3 times costs of car hire, so not a bargain.Car provided had several dents and passenger door handle broken, looks like repairs are not carried out even though customers have paid for insurnces

    Counter staff were friendly and helpful, but I was not made aware of the a weakness in the model (Honda Jazz) - yellow tyre pressure light coming on, which was a worry, as I had no handbook. The car drove beautifully throughout. Maps (as well as the aforementioned handbook) might have been provided. The 2000 Euros (security) asked for at check-in was a shock. I am still awaiting the refund (I was told to wait at least fifteen days). I left my sunglasses in the car, and e-mailed to ask whether I could get them sent to me (with me paying the postage) a week ago , but no reply so far.

    The pick up was horrendous. When I phoned I was told to go to area 16 (no problem) only to be told to wait 35 minutes for pick up & if I didn't like it is could get a taxi as pick up is a free complimentary service, then I was taken to hilton hotel 1st before drop off.Girl who dealt with my booking was excellent. When I dropped car back I was told to wait at tree outside, again 30/35 mins for pick up. After 30 mins I went back inside to complain. The staff member behind the counter was not interested when I said I was missing my flight. A senior member of staff told him to get any car and drop me back to airport. I was only in dublin for a day and lost too much time with your service so I cannot rebook with you based on this customer service.

    Awful experience with Easirent. They ask you to wait at Zone 14 in Dublin airport which is a bus stop. The airport staff told us they did not have a licence to be picking up from the airport and that the driver would be arrested on arrival. Took over an hour for the driver to arrive. The desk staff were very rude and the vehicle was covered in dents and scratches. They tried to force us into taking their insurance even though we had already insured via EasyRentCars.com. Awful experience. Do not use EasiRent DUBLIN AIRPORT.

    Samantha was extremely unprofessional, she swore on numerous occasions and tried to rush the damage paper work, being very lax about it. On return, I had to argue my case for 60 mins that I did not damage the vehicle and again Samantha handled the situation terribly. She refused to look at the vehicle and claimed she did not remember, even though she came up to me before this and tried to pick up our conversation from the last day.     Car was a VW Touran that fit 7 people without luggage. The car had 87,000 kms on it with scratches & multiple dents all over it with a fog light out. It was due for an oil change. The windshield had cracks in it. The pick up experience was awful. We were basically told the online policy to cover the excess damage was worthless. Tyres & glass was not covered, nor was roof damage. They tried to rent us a truck that held 5 with more luggage room. The whole pick up experience was an intimidation & bullying process, which seems to be the norm in Ireland. The same woman who rented the car to us, refused to make eye contact with us upon are return.

    When picking up the car the guy at the counter painted a very scary picture of insurance situation and informed me that to be fully insured I need to purchase very expensive insurance. I know this is his job and everything he said was accurate but I found it very scary. And the whole process took too long. When I dropped off I found the guy accepted it was rude. He dropped me off at the airport by double parking and gave me a "safety first" advice when I was going to get off from offside of the van. But because he double parked, the near side was equally dangerous.

    Dublin airport car rental. Google. Easy. Arrive in Dublin. Call Easyrentcars. Stand in pickup location for 25 mins. Get on bus for 40 mins to car rental site residing 800 yards away. Reason: it’s a Hilton hotel shuttle. Route: drive 5 miles away from airport in rush hour traffic, drop people at Hilton, turn around and drive 5 miles through rush hour traffic back to airport and drop off poor car rental customers at Easirentcars. Wait for 30 mins to speak with front desk. Provide €2600 ‘deposit for damage’. Watch staff look perplexed that I wanted the car on the booking. Informed that a 7 seaters isn’t on site. Sit down and contemplate some inappropriate actions. 20 minutes later car arrives. Wait further 10 minutes as paperwork not ready. Woman on reception laughs saying it’s not always like this. Contemplate more bad things. Drive car away and drink heavily. After journey is completed. Angry. Unlikely to use them again even if I had to drive my family away from an apocalyptic event.

    There was no courtesy bus on the day of our arrival and I got a taxi to the hire car base. The attendant asked me did I get a receipt and when I hadn't, did not reimburse me for the fare.The car tyres were bald on the front outside edges. I showed this to the booking attendant. He said there was no other vehicles and they were ok. He then marked them on the condition report. When I lost my key (and later found) in Donegal - they said the spare key was in Liverpool??? When I returned the car - I later found out it was a different location. The attendant said the tyres would be replaced immediately. EasiRent hired me a car that was both dangerous and unroadworthy

    Nothing could have been better! The staff were all superb! In my heading, I stress "Ireland" as Easirent staff in the UK are, in my experience, a bunch of crooks! At Gatwick, after a 10 hour flight, I paid a "deposit" for a car I had already paid in full to rent, only to subsequently find they had charged me for an "Upgrade" to a Diesel car - which I didn't want or need - at more than the cost of the initial rental! At Heathrow, they refused to give me a car I had booked and paid for because I did not have any utility bills dated in the last 3 months proving I lived at my address in the UK? I had been away for 4 months, I pay my bills by direct debit so do not get paper bills and have my bank statements sent electronically so how on Earth could I comply with the VERY small print of their contract? I offered them my passport to HOLD against the rental, £20 000 to be blocked on my credit card as a deposit or for them to run a credit check on me. They refused - but kept my money anyway and ignored attempts to contact them afterwards! I got a taxi to Green Motion down the road and they gladly gave me a car without needing any supporting documents! Easirent Ireland MUST be a different company as the service there is fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! Just avoid Easirent in the UK!!!!

    We turned up around 12am only to find a family arguing with the attendant (possibly Marco) we weren’t sure why, but waited our turn. As soon as it was our turn about 60minutes later...he was just terrible, I get it we needed to either get insurance or a pre authorisation amount, but he was just horrible, saying he had to leave when we were making our mind up, saying he would just lock up and we wouldn’t get a car. That pressure is not good! Not professional! And should just not be on! Horrible horrible service. We ended up getting extra insurance, we needed it as he was just giving us scare tactics. I’m very unhappy with the service given don’t think I’ll hire again. Not a great way to start our wedding!

    It took 90 mins from calling office for pick up to arriving at office for car .. then they didnt have correct vehicle , they tried to palm me off with little Peugeot, I'm 6ft 3 ! so then they offered another car , it was scratched and dented all around , front bumper was unsecure as it had a bump previously, I opened the car up and it was filthy , hadn't been cleaned, previous hirer documents , empty coffee cups , sweet wrappers , smelling of cigarettes.. anyway I had to take it as i was late for my meeting at this stage .. I drove a few miles down the road and realised there were 2 yellow warning lights on , and I couldn't check what they were for as there was no vehicle user manual and to top it off the whole media system was in spanish .. also there was insufficient fuel in vehicles..you couldn't make it up .. I sometimes get Hertz and I always get a new or new ish vehicle sparkling clean and fresh .. I have pics to back up all the above ..

    +ves: Value was good compared to others. Drop off was handled OK. Fuel deposit was swiftly returned. -ves: The car (Hyundai i10) was smaller than expected having paid for a "Fiesta or similar". Lots of unnecessary & unclear choices for insurance and fuel combinations. Pick up location wasn't clean. Collection from Airport took too long.

    We had a little trouble figuring out where to meet the shuttle to the pick-up point but we eventually figured it out with a couple phone calls to the Easirent people. I called again before we dropped the car off to inquire about tolls and they were able to help as well. However, in each phone call, they were in a hurry to get off the phone which meant I had to repeat my questions because they didn’t take the time to listen the first time.

    Car excellent Bad communication about difference between Car Insurance / Rent a car company. We hire car with this company because Web site offers 13.95 by day. I paid by credit card 13.95 however when were in the meeting point the staff tell us to pay 49 euro for hire car by day.

    I waited 40 mins for the bus at the airport to find out that it was going to go to the hotel first and wait 30 min. That is not acceptable. And they dont tell you this when they tell you where to go for the pickup.

    Appalling , you advertise cars that are 1 year old the heap you gave me was 3 years old over 65000 miles and service light was on, you tried to sell me add on car insurance by scaring me and swiped my card for over 2000 euros that takes 18 days to return , shocking service, add to this I had to pay for a taxi to get to your site all round a joke , never again

    Employee in person and then employee on the phone said I could have brought the car back later due to their slowness in providing me with a car. No one mentioned any price to pay on top and I have been “secretly” charged 40€. Had to check statements to notice it. Terrible planning at pick up (bank holiday apart) and customer service not transparent

    I write reviews quite a lot and I am very alert to customer service. This is my first rental with easyrentcars. From my airport transit to my car pick up the van driver Derek was very polite and courteous and provided guidance on drop off detail with ease. I collected my car from Andre from Brazil who made the whole process very straight forward and once again in a polite and relaxed manner. Overall the rental was stress free. The vehicle was very modern and clean and drove amazing. The drop off was also seamless and the staff there were polite and talkative. Over fantastic keep up the good work and hopefully I can find a nice price for my next visit in March.
