Very good rental agency. There is no additional airport fee aside from the rental price you pay on easyrentcars.com. The car had only 7000 km on the meter, was a little dent and scratched which is normal for Israel. Counter personnel was very polite and very helpful in explaining the conditions of the rental. We have been also explained to avoid the 50 Shekel (NIS) fee by not going onto Highway no. 6 which is payable by an electronic system, however, we choose to drive on it and to pay the fee which in our opinion was acceptable.

Amazing little car which took us on a two day adventure in the mountains of North Israel on just one tank of fuel. Overall experience getting and returning car is easy and doesn't take overly long
They tried to charge us the deposit! The car was a bit damaged and with some warning signals (red lights). We had to argue not to be charged for the deposit.
They clearly tried to make money on us.

1. я забронировал машину за 2 дня до получения, но когда приехал 26.08.2019 из Тель-Авива в Тверию к назначенному времени, сначала ждал в очереди 30 минут, так как из большого количества сотрудников, только один занимался оформлением заказов
2. Моей машины не оказалось на месте, и мне ещё пришлось ждать около 1 - 1,5 часа, когда они решат проблему.
3. Машина была в ужасном состоянии, внутри салона были порванные сидения, пошарпанный пластик, оторванная слева защита от солнца. Механическая коробка передач также оставляла желать лучшего.
4. Я уже очень торопился, так как прождал около 2 часов, потом оказалось что в папку с информацией мне не положили мой экземпляр договора.
5. Когда сдавал машину также были проблемы, трудно было найти въезд на парковку, так как он был с другой стороны от офиса огромного здания в Ришон Ле Ционе, парковка была на крыше. После того как поставил машину, несмотря на то что я зашёл в офис и сказал что приехал перед этим, меня никто не ждал на парковке. Мне пришлось спуститься с крыши на первый этаж, найти сотрудника, а потом опять подняться наверх, чтобы он осмотрел автомобиль.
6. Все это заняло много времени, после осмотра мы вернулись на первый этаж, сотрудник увидел, что у меня все оплачено и отпустил меня, не выдав мне инвойс.
7. Прошло уже две недели с момента возврата автомобиля, но мой обеспечительный платеж в 3000 шекелей до сих пор не вернулся мне на карту.
8. При этом в AVIS сотрудники офиса Ришлн-Ле-Цион говорят, что уже 29.08. отменили операцию, но на карту мне деньги не вернулись. А в банке говорят, что вместо отмены списания от 26.08 в 3000 шекелей, AVIS ещё заблокировал одну сумму в 3000 шекелей.
8. Я приезжал в офис опять, чтобы получить документы, которые мне не дали, так как на почту и по факсу мне ничего не прислали, несмотря на то что обещали по телефону, когда я им звонил.

I received a weaker car then expected which was unfair even though they had the car I saw online and booked. The people at the location were unfriendly and not helpful and introduced extra charges upon pick up.. not satisfied with their service.

I waited a terribly long time for my car which is understandable because I rented it during busy season. But then after over an hour of waiting some cars of the class over the one I reserved showed up but the staff refused to upgrade me and proceeded to make me wait another full hour until my class car came. All through this last hour they kept on reassuring me that my car will arrive in just ten more minutes, just fifteen more minutes, because obviously they couldn't tell me that I will have to wait another hour. I was under the impression that the common courtesy of rental car companies is to bump you up a class if they don't have your car especially if you had already payed for it beforehand. Making you wait a bit is fine but over 2 hours is ridiculous.
There was a problem with the computers at the counter so it took over three hours till we got the car... The counter staff was nice but could help much. Once we got the car everything was good.

Budget forced me into an upsell by telling me the car I wanted was going to be 2 hours late. I consider this a dirty trick, however the car they gave me was quite good so I can't decide if in the end I got a good deal or not.
